Collection: X-Men

X-Men Comics

In 1963 Marvel Comics writer Stan Lee and artist Jack Kirby wanted to create a superhero group that didn’t need their powers explained so mutants and The X-Men were born.

1975 Chris Claremont revamped the series and turned the X-Men into a colossal franchise in the comic book industry. Claremont's run lasted until 1991, with that 1975-91 period widely regarded as the series’ commercial and creative peak.

The roster of the X-Men has changed a lot of times over the years, but some of fan favorite characters are Cyclops, Professor X, Jean Grey, Beast, Storm and Wolverine. And of course we can't forget Magneto.
